I’ve always been amazed at the color contrasts of the black 1967 427 Corvettes, especially with the contrasting red hood stinger. In 2009 Michael Soares, who owned two such Corvett es, commissioned a painting of his cars. This year I created “Tiger Paws,” using my photos of his ’67’s but adding red line tires to both and using a U.S. Royal Tiger Paw advertisement on the wall. Show more
