Acclimate slowly if transitioning from lower light conditions Flow: Low to medium indirect flow — Gentle, alternating flow allows the long tentacles to extend and sway naturally. Avoid direct strong flow which can cause the coral to retract or stress Placement: Lower to middle rockwork — Provide ample space around the coral as torch tentacles can extend 4-6" and will sting neighboring corals on contact Difficulty: Easy to moderate — A great choice for hobbyists with stable, established reef parameters Compatibility Note: Torch corals are aggressive and will sting other corals within reach of their sweeper tentacles. Keep at least 6" of clearance from neighboring specimens, especially other LPS corals.Feeding: Torch corals are active feeders and respond well to target feeding 2-3 times per week with meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, chopped seafood, or quality LPS pellet foods.
