After cutting each length, the end has to be chamfered and deburred with the chamfering tool so it doesn't nick the O-ring going into the fitting, then a dab of the assembly gel seats the seal, and each fitting is locked down with the correct-size tightening wrench (the 3/4" and 2" keys cover the two pipe sizes on this job, plus a universal wrench).
