Description Light/Soil/Water Hardiness Tillandsia capitata ‘Blue Raspberry’ is a striking, clumping air plant with broad, arching leaves dusted in cool sapphire blue tones. Beneath the blue coating, the base color is lime green, which can shift to deep crimson when grown in bright light. The soft, powdery surface gives the plant a smooth, matte finish and enhances its vibrant color contrast. All plants are shipped bare root. Enhanced Color varieties are finished with a plant-safe airbrushed color for a vibrant appearance. This temporary color enhancement may gradually fade after several months of regular watering as the plant continues to grow. Bright indirect sunlight. No soil is needed. Sand, sea glass, rocks, pebbles & bark chip can be used instead of soil. Frequent misting several times a week is necessary. Tillandsia Capitata Peach will also benefit from a soaking bath every week. Give it a little shake off afterwards to make sure water doesn't collect in the bottom leaves to prevent rot.
