Tillandsia 'Eric Knobloch' is one of the most beautiful hybrid air plants, admired for its elegant curling foliage, soft silvery-green leaves and beautiful pink blush that develops as the plant matures. Combining the finest characteristics of Tillandsia brachycaulos and Tillandsia streptophylla, it is a truly distinctive collector's plant with year-round sculptural appeal. Unlike many air plants, Eric Knobloch forms an open, graceful rosette with gently twisting leaves that become increasingly characterful over time. As the plant prepares to flower, the foliage often develops rich shades of rose-pink before producing striking purple flowers, creating a spectacular display. Display in bright, indirect light with plenty of fresh air. Soak the plant in water for 20–30 minutes approximately every 7–10 days, allowing it to dry completely before returning it to display. Water a little more frequently during warm weather and reduce watering during winter. Feed once a month during spring and summer with a specialist Tillandsia fertiliser to encourage healthy growth and flowering.Approximate diameter: 8cm Please note: Every Tillandsia 'Eric Knobloch' is unique. The degree of leaf curl, size and seasonal colour will naturally vary, making each plant an individual living sculpture.
