These stunning air plants are epiphytes that live not on the ground, but on branches and rocks. Stricta is one of the most sought-after air plants as it has a rosette of silvery gr een leaves with the flower nestling amongst them. Prefers bright light, with some direct sunshine and humidity. Dunk the plant in water every week or two. Decrease watering to once every three weeks during winter. Shake the plant gently to remove excess water. Avoid direct sunlight while drying.
