Tilt Top Table Catches enable table-tops to be used in two positions: flat and upright. This 18th century design was one of the earlies space saving mechanisms used on furniture. W hen not in use, the tea table top was positioned upright, table was then easily moved to an out of the way corner. Easy to use, providing a smooth transition when adjusting table-top between level and vertical positions. Spring loaded mechanism with a thumb knob release securely fastens table top when flat.
