The Four Sisters are a row of three-storey stone houses in St. John’s, Newfoundland, built in the late nineteenth century by prominent stonemason Samuel Garrett as wedding gifts fo r his daughters. Designated Registered Heritage Structures in 1988, they stand on a steep hill above the harbour, making the houses appear tilted when the ground is levelled.
