When the device activates due to excessive tilt, the RFID memory updates, allowing automated systems to detect tilt events during scanning. How does the RFID function work? If the indicator is triggered, the RFID chip changes state. When the shipment passes through a fixed gate or handheld reader, the system automatically flags the unit as “Alarm” without requiring visual inspection. Does TiltWatch RFID still provide a visual indicator? Yes. It includes the same red/white activation window as the TiltWatch XTR. The RFID feature adds digital traceability on top of the physical indicator. Does TiltWatch RFID detect shock or vibration?
