Tim Curry, Manzanillo Mexico, 1997. The master of on screen personas and an exuberant personality in real life, Tim couldn’t have been a kinder, more willing subject. We sauntered off the movie set and found a beautiful ocean vista at the end of a cliff. He ran up to the edge with his riding crop in hand and jumped into this pose, screaming at the sun. I slid down the side of the cliff to shoot up at him against the deep blue sky as he took on this sort of evil, powerful character. We continued down the cliffside onto an isolated beach, and with mist blowing off the ocean and the hot sun beaming down, we captured this moment - this character of his own creation - of the enigmatic star, giving me all he had.
