Drawing a burr and turning the hook are handled by the burnisher. The Timberline Tool Scraper Burnisher makes creating a burr and turning the hook a very simple process. It will even work on curved scrapers. The Scraper Burnisher consists of a hardened steel burnishing rod (it is hardened to RC-62) that is held tightly into the hardwood tool. The burnishing rod is held at a perfect angle for "turning the hook" on your scraper. A set of very easy to follow instructions are included with every burnisher.
