Timbersilk is the close relative of Iso E Super (Patchouli Ethanone), in fact it is effectively the same material except that the two products have a different balance of isomers which effects their odour strength. Iso E Super itself is relatively weak - most of its odour comes from small amounts of two of its related isomers: the gamma isomer and Arborone (Iso E Super Plus - the main odour vector of the material). Iso E Super has 4.8% Arborone and 11.7% Iso Gamma, while Timbersilk has 8.5% Arborone and 13.5% Iso Gamma making it stronger in scent and power. Timbersilk is also boosted with 0.07% of AmberXtreme. The near mythical captive "Iso G Super" of Molecule 1 fame has 8.5% Arborone and 13.5% Iso Gamma. Timbersilk holds its own against stronger materials and is less inclined to be lost in the mix. It can replace Iso E Super in all areas and can work very well in a modified type of Grojsman accord.
