"Part of my job with Dimepiece is “celebrity watch spotting.” So... one day, I’d spent hours combing through archival photos of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Besette Kennedy (as one does) and stumbled upon a photo of John John in what looked to be a diving watch. I immediately sent it to Alan Bedwell, and he not only identified it as a Timex, but suggested we send it to the brand to explore the conversation of relaunching it."That original watch – the 1995 Intrepid – has been dutifully revived by Timex, true to its original design and proportions. This is what you see now! Its defining features include a substantial 46mm stainless-steel case, unique crown placement at 4 o’clock, a robust black synthetic rubber strap, and a clean white dial with an angled reflector ring and prominent hour markers. Adding to its functionality is Timex's INDIGLO® backlight for night visibility, activated by a dedicated bright green pusher on the case side beside 9 o’clock, and a slide rule bezel featuring logarithmic scales that allow you to tackle calculations such as multiplication, division, percentages, and other unit conversions. And with a screw-down crown for 100m of water resistance, this timepiece is made for the baddie who dives right in—whatever the pursuit.
