About the photo: Clearwater, FL How do you create a unique photo? Something that few people have seen before. One that makes people do a double take. Is it timing? Does it come dow n to dumb luck, or is it a combination of all of these. This is what every photographer strives for. A storm has just rolled through and I was walking the streets with my camera. I came across this spot, a spot I had been hundreds of times before. But this time was different. The rain had stopped but the clouds remained. Water covered the ground but the puddles were still. I spotted this single puddle, no bigger than a few feet. It had pooled right next to the curb on the road but positioned perfectly. Lowering my camera to hover just above the puddle, I was able to get a perfect reflection of the bridge. I set the settings, adjusted the angle to get the perfect composition and just as I snapped the shutter a flock of birds rose off the bridge complimenting this perfect shot, proving that Time is Everything.
