In winter, some Tinker horses grow a funny-looking moustache. In the Tinker are the mighty Shire horse, the powerful Clydesdale, the majestic Friesian and the sure-footed Dales Pon y. These were bred by travellers to the UK and Ireland to make for a strong and sturdy pull- and workhorse. At the same time they stayed very much on top of the horses characters.
