Tinta Cão is a rare Portuguese grape variety that makes a delicious medium bodied wine with lovely floral aromatics. Distinctly perfumed and dusted with spice, Tinta Cão has a lovely floral aspect on both the nose and palate. The palate is edgy and vibrant with well balanced acidity. Flavours of just ripe mulberries, purple flowers and five spice laced with brambly/herbal notes. It’s bright and flavoursome and very, very drinkable.
