15,000 men, with 5,000 more on horseback, up against an army of no less than 4 goblins per hand, foot, and hoof. The Battle of Renendo was the largest the land of Dog had seen since the beasts of the south made contact with The Below. After 30 days of war, the Goblins had the Human's capital surrounded. In an attempt at peace, King Kraftsauber made High Chief Goid an offer, which after 3 days of watching his once torrential green army crash against the unwavering defences of the Humans, Goid accepted. The siege was to be settled in the arena... Now seen as the inaugural Mega Dog tournament, the recollection of what occurred in Renendo that day has much changed throughout the many songs and tales that have followed. The one thing to persist however, the honour of wielding the mighty Titanhantel. Awarded to the champion of each tournament, the sword used to sever Goid's head from his tail of destruction, is to be held not by the walls and chests of Dog's castles and keeps, but by the hands of only the mightiest of warriors, in only the most mega of arenas.
