The T-Driver titanium compression horn driver delivers professional high-frequency reproduction for PA systems, live sound rigs, and venue installations requiring reliable horn-loaded coverage. This 16-ohm driver handles the critical midrange and treble frequencies that cut through dense mixes and reach the back of the room. Built around a robust 15 oz magnet and 1 3/8" voice coil, the T-Driver produces clean, directional highs from 1.5kHz to 20kHz. The titanium diaphragm construction provides durability and consistent response under demanding live sound conditions, while the 102 dB sensitivity ensures efficient power conversion. At 100 watts RMS and 200 watts peak power handling, this driver matches well with mid-power amplifiers and crossover networks. The 16-ohm impedance allows for flexible wiring configurations in multi-driver arrays or when combining with existing 8-ohm components. The 1 3/8" threaded mounting fits standard horn throats from most manufacturers. Perfect for replacing blown drivers in existing PA horns, upgrading church sound systems, or building custom line arrays for mobile DJs and bands. Works effectively in venues from small clubs to outdoor festivals serving 200-500 people when properly matched with appropriate horns and crossover points. The driver threads directly onto compatible horn throats — no additional mounting hardware required. Each T-Driver weighs just 1.1 pounds for easy handling during installation. Seismic Audio backs every T-Driver with a one-year warranty and ships ready to install. Professional-grade performance engineered for working musicians and sound technicians who need dependable results night after night. The T-Driver fits any horn with a standard 1 3/8" threaded throat. This includes most PA horns from major manufacturers like Eminence, JBL, and Peavey replacement applications. Always verify your existing horn's thread pitch before ordering, as some vintage or import horns may use different threading standards. How many people can this driver cover in a venue? When properly matched with an appropriate horn and crossover, the T-Driver effectively covers venues serving 200-500 people. Actual coverage depends heavily on your horn's dispersion pattern, amplifier power, and venue acoustics. For outdoor events or very live rooms, consider multiple drivers or higher-powered models. Do I need a crossover with this compression driver? Yes, compression drivers require a crossover to filter out low frequencies that can damage the voice coil. Set your crossover point between 1.2kHz and 2kHz depending on your woofer's upper response. Never run full-range audio directly to this driver without proper frequency filtering. Can I wire multiple T-Drivers together? The 16-ohm impedance allows flexible wiring options. Wire two drivers in parallel for 8 ohms total, or in series for 32 ohms. This makes it easy to match your amplifier's preferred load impedance or integrate with existing 8-ohm components in your PA system. What's the difference between this and an 8-ohm version? The 16-ohm version provides more wiring flexibility when building arrays or matching specific amplifier loads. Performance characteristics remain identical — same power handling, frequency response, and sensitivity. Choose impedance based on your system's electrical requirements, not acoustic performance needs.
