Majestic and exuberant, this superb Amarone Riserva is simply outstanding; a combination of grace and aggressive power. Campo del Titari is a nectar made only in the very best vint ages and in limited quantities (3000 bottles) using the appassimento technique. It is a wine for the bold: those who are capable of recognizing the strong emotions that inspired it. Oh, and by the way, a natural 17% alcohol, so not for the faint-hearted. The soil is rich, mainly limestone over glacial drift with lots of rocks. Veronese-type pergola training with, on average, 40-45 year-old vines.
