This adds to the instruments beautiful tone in a way that is far superior to cheaper materials, allowing you to sound your absolute best as you perform. Hand overcut and undercut embouchure holes The Trevor James 31CF Chanson flute is crafted with hand cut embouchure holes, ensuring the smoothest results with no uneven or disproportionate edges, meaning you can play your flute with the secure knowledge that you are able to truly play your best possible sound due to the dedicated craftsmanship behind this instrument. French style pointed key arms This flute features a key arm which does its absolute best to support your sound, as it extends to the centre of the key from the flute, adding strength to the structural design of the instrument that other key arm designs do not. This way, you do not have to worry about weak keys that leak or damage your sound, allowing you to play with ease as your fingers glide across them. A beautiful yet durable instrument Trevor James works tirelessly to provide the best possible service when crafting instruments, and there is no better example of this than the effort put into the plating of the 31CF Chanson flute. With a base layer of copper-plating for the nickel tubing, then followed by two layers of silver-plate for a solid finish, this flute is incredibly durable and strong while also looking stylish, meaning it will last you for years and years as you go forward in your musical journey.
