The TK Audio BC1-THD is a VCA stereo buss compressor inspired by the legendary SSL G Stereo buss compressor with the addition of a grab setting and THD for more aggressive compression and sound. The TK Audio BC1-THD offers the same transparent compression the original but with the added Grab and THD controls. The Grab control adds a more aggressive and apparent compression which works wonders on a drum bus for example. The THD switch adds subtle distortion to the signal for a crunchier sound Other changes include a new switchable high-pass filter offers a choice of three frequency points (80Hz, 150Hz, 220Hz) allowing the user to tailor the response of the compression to the bass. Furthermore, the BC1-THD includes additional attack settings for additional flexibility.
