TMAP (Tactile Maps Automated Production) provides on-demand tactile maps designed to help blind and visually impaired individuals explore and understand the layout of a neighborhood. These maps cover several blocks around a requested address, using raised lines, braille, and large print to identify streets and street labels. Paths and railways may be included, depending on map density. What’s Included: Two tactile maps of the same address: A zoomed-out overview A zoomed-in detail map showing streets, paths, and buildings (when data is available) A tactile map key An introductory page All materials are printed on 11" × 11.5" embossed paper with braille and ink/large print labels. Not suitable for college campuses. TMAP is designed for residential neighborhoods and street-level navigation, not for complex or campus layouts.
