One hex will become engulfed in lava, while your ATV begins on one of the remaining hexes. As the game progresses, you’ll have the chance to unleash chaos with “illegal” cards. For example, you can drop a 'not in the mountains' card just after 'in the mountains' has been played for the same treasure. This clever move opens up access to one of the four volcanic clue cards, allowing you to cover the previous card with new hints like 'next to/not next to the volcano' or 'next to/not next to lava'. Once the treasure is secured, the volcanic card returns to the side of the play area, ready for future rounds.
