This photograph is of the artist's husband's hand and was taken in March 2022 in Dungeness, England. Known for her painting and sculpture works, Hoffbeck presents “Analog Diary”, a photographic series using 35mm film. The first of its kind for Tappan, Hoffbeck is no stranger to a photography practice that is both meditative and methodical. In 2014 she was selected by the curators of M+ Museum in Hong Kong to be one of the thirteen artists published in Pipeline Contemporary Art Magazine's Photography Issue. She’s gone on to be published in M Le Monde, The Weekender, Oh Comely, The Carton, Hole & Corner Magazine, Moon Magazine and Hanatsubaki Magazine.
