These Heavy duty Toggle switches have 6 terminals which makes the DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw) this is what you need to make motors and actuator run in either direction with the center position been off. We have 2 types of Toggle switches here, one is momentary which means as soon as you let go of the switch it automatically springs back to the center position to turn off the motor or Actuator. The other is Sustaining which means when you press the switch the lever will stay in that position and the Motor or Actuator will keep going unit they themselves reach their limit, In the case of one of our Linear Actuator the built in limit switches will simply stop the actuator. The sustaining type of Switch is great if you don't want to hang around holding the switch. Show more
