The sleeves are knit flat and seamed into place after finishing the back and front of the pieces. The round neckline is picked up and finished at the end. Please note you may finish the collar however you prefer but the sample is shown with a 1x1 rib collar that is not doubled. All the meterage are estimates, if the amounts seem quite different from what you would usually consume please err on the side of caution but trust your experience. Set in sleeve patterns can be the most yarn efficient shape and may not require as much as one considers. Meterages include amounts for swatching.I do not instruct where to place markers throughout the pattern, this is reflective of my knitting style. You may want to place locking markers every ten rows in the main fabric centre of you back and front. Placing markers in the fabric the rows before you begin shoulder shaping may help with shaping later. There is a choice of a standard shoulder where the seam rests at the middle of the shoulder cap or a French Shoulder. The French shoulder sits farther back and can be a great fit adjustment for those who find pullovers ride up in the centre back. The finishing and amount of knitting are the exact same. Please select the size that your bust range falls within. The pattern includes the necessary ease. The garment is meant to be worn as a mid layer and should fit under other knit garments. The sleeves are tapered at the wrist to allow for easy layering, the sleeves are cut quite long as it is easier to remove length. There are clear instructions on how to modify the length for this reason. Where specific technical instruction is not provided please use your preferred methods, needle styles, lengths, and other assorted notions. The pattern uses provisional tubular cast-ons throughout and the instructions are located in the pattern under the beginning of the body section labelled cast on. If you do not wish to use this cast on method simply cast on the number of stitches stated for the body and the sleeves. I recommend seaming in a coordinating sock yarn for best results. A garter stitch selvedge noted as GSS will be maintained at all side edges throughout the pattern, knit this stitch on every row.
