Cellerini has been making leather goods in a first-floor atelier on Via del Sole, in central Florence, since the late 1950s. Alongside the bags and wallets that are the workshop's main work are the small objects that travel with you - and the toiletry bag is one of them. This is a soft-sided pouch, sized for the few things you carry to a sink in the morning - a tube, a brush, a small bottle or two - and built to hold them whether the bag is upright on a bathroom shelf or laid flat in a case. The body is fine-grained calfskin, supple but substantial, with a silver-plated zip across the top and a small leather pull tab. The base is squared and stitched, so the bag stands on its own.
