I love the contrast between these two quilts. The soft rustic effect of muted taupe fabrics - I used a wide variety of Japanese woven fabrics. I used some of the lighter scraps for a pieced border. This scrap quilt finishes at 68" x 54" Could easily be enlarged by adding more blocks. The bright quilt uses a constant light aqua background and the same navy fabric in each of the blocks. This has a pieced border with four patch blocks set on point where the colours are graded. This quilt finishes at 66" x 45" Show more
