The Slab Desk by Tom Dixon is a celebration of the natural beauty of oak. Sourced from sustainably managed forests and crafted in Lithuania, care has been taken to ensure robust and solid construction. The surface of each desk has been deeply brushed to expose the grain of the wood offering a tactile, matt finish. Choose from either natural lacquered, black lacquered or fumed lacquered oak. Inspired by the archetypical Victorian school desk, the Slab Desk has been brought up to date with angular lines and softly rounded edges. The traditional inkwell has been transformed into a cable management hole, with a deeply machined groove for pens and accessories. This versatile desk is the perfect work station for home or office spaces and also doubles as a dressing table or creative space.
