Just 3000 bottles of Tomatin 30-year-old Batch 4 have been released, at a strength of 46%. For this 30-year-old Tomatin, all the casks are either ex-bourbon or 'traditional' oak, which generally means second or third refill - perfect for an old whisky where one still wants to taste the distillery character at the same time as allowing the tertiary ageing qualities to come through.
