Work exclusively from a 1% or 0.1% dilution; the neat material is far too powerful to dose accurately. This is one of perfumery's true high-impact molecules, with a detection threshold around 3.5 parts per billion in water. Pair it with cis-3-hexenol to soften the metallic edges and bridge it into naturalistic leaf accords. Blend with galbanum and basil oil for full greenhouse realism, or add traces to citrus compositions to enhance the zesty peel effect and banish any candy-like sweetness.
