Geiko Tomesode Early Showa / Taisho period. Pattern of a festival flower cart pulled by kaoko children. The pattern continues around the hem inside . Fine red jap silk lining. The hem is lightly padded. The colours are still vibrant, but the background black has faded overall. There are some loose kinkoma threads, and the left hand sleeve lining is loose.The red silk lining to the collar is starting to split.
