Tomme du Chatelard is a rustic alpine-style cheese from the Haute-Savoie region of France. If you're a fan of Tomme de Savoie or Saint Nectaire, this is sure to be a winner. The sm ooth and semi soft paste is nutty, subtly fruity, with a slight earthy funk from the washed rind and cellar aging. A perfect marriage of subtle alpine sweetness and umami undertones makes this accessible for the cheese novice, and also satisfying a connoisseur. Show more
