This sweet essence smells like marzipan with notes of vanilla, caramel, almonds and spice. Tonka is a favorite of perfumers the word over, with good reason. Tonka bean is rich in c oumarin and essential for creating fragrance categories such as chypres and fougeres, and is often added to amber accords and gourmand fragrances. Undiluted tonka is a solid crystallized mass and very challenging to work with, so we've diluted our tonka to 40% in organic ethanol for ease of use.
