Tool Boxes, designed by Line Depping, is a storage unit which, with subtle reference to the classic toolbox, offers a way to organize both collections and everyday items. And everyday use is exactly what Line Depping wants you to consider when choosing furniture for your home. Her work is a call for you to surround yourself with things you actually use and which speak to you in an aesthetic design language; things you enjoy seeing on a daily basis, year after year. Tool Boxes consists of a metal frame with drawers that slide on hidden rails and can be pulled out from either side. It comes in a low version with 6 drawers or this tall/high version with 10 drawers. The construction may look simple, but many hours of work at the welders and in the cabinetmakers workshop go into each of the drawers - and then comes the colouring... The wood is carefully selected in either Oregon pine or yellow colour graduated ash. The drawers for the Oregon pine versions are available with a thin laquer finish or a red colour graduation. The drawers are made by Hudevad on Funen, and Stål & Form makes the welding of the frame. The red and the yellow versions are colour graduated in the A. Petersen workshop. Show more
