Empty Aluminum Blanks with an adhesive base Give rigidity and increases the life of the stones. Purpose Stone support Blanks are used with sharpening stones on the Hapstone knife s harpener. Edge Pro format sharpening stones are fragile and must be attached to the blank blanks. Construction Aluminum body The blanks have a standard 45-degree bevel and are made of high quality 3mm thick aluminum. The blank comes with an adhesive backing. How to use Mounting options There are two ways to attach sharpening stones to empty blanks: Water-resistant glue with high adhesion to metals and stones. We recommend 3M 77 spray glue. If you have oilstone, use 3M 80 instead. Water-resistant PSA tape with high adhesion to metal and stone. We recommend 3M 90080.
