Toomaj Salehi is an Iranian hip hop artist mostly known for his protest songs concerning Iran's societal issues and the policies of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran. A dissident rapper who backed the anti-government protests in Iran has been charged with "corruption on Earth" and could face the death penalty. The activist group, the Center for Human Rights in Iran, says 451 protesters and 60 members of the security forces have been killed since the start of the unrest and that more than 18,000 people have been detained. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these earrings will be donated to the Center for Human Rights in Iran (CHRI), which has been amplifying the voices of the Iranian people since 2008.
