Have you heard of oil pulling? It's an ancient oral hygiene technique and considered an Ayurveda Medicine. The process involves swishing a tablespoon of oil, typically coconut oil in your mouth for 15-20 minutes. Now that is LOOOONG time and this is not the most pleasant thing to do buuuut the benefits seem amazing. It seems to improve dental health by reducing bacterial and bad breath, improves gum health and reduces cavities. I say start with a tablespoon and go do something like unload the dishwasher, take out the trash, take the dog out...distract yourself and start swishing. Try to add another 30 seconds or min every time.
