Again, using the swimming pool and diving board themes, Top Board is an imagined scene, with the figure reminiscent of a Helmut Newton model from the late 1970’s and Mike’s dog Dja ngo wondering if she will actually dive? The background pays homage to the outside Lido of Penzance with its molded concrete diving board and the villa is one where Mike would holiday in Tuscany.
