They are designed with horses with non-traditional foot shapes in mind. Our bells have our unique closed cell, full strength neoprene, with a double wrap layer on the hell area. Our full pad velcro ensures not only maximum staying power, but additional heel protection. these bells have 4 3/4” overlap. What is overlap? These boots have a second set of double velcro inside the boot. This is meant to be a double layer of protection against heel strikes. You will want to DEDUCT this overlap from the total length of the bell - that resulting figure is the actual length of the bell that will come in contact with the foot.
