Top Withens is a print of a representational painting inspired by the windswept moorland thought to have informed Wuthering Heights. The original work grew out of a blustery day spent on the tops above Haworth, where the landscape feels both stark and alive with atmosphere. There is something timeless about this stretch of moorland—its shifting weather, its sense of isolation, and the quiet drama of the ruined farmhouse at Top Withens. The original painting has long since sold, and my work has evolved quite significantly since then. These prints are the final remaining editions available, marking the last opportunity to own this particular image from that period of my practice.
