A 2.3 x 2.0 x 1.5 cm pale sherry-tinged colourless crystal of water-clear Topaz emerges from the broad termination of a murky, mainly opaque orangey-yellow-brown Quartz crystal. Fr om the Pamir Mountains in Tajikistan, these are some of the highest mountains in the world being an extension of the Himalaya range.
