I am a Square Toradake Bread Basket. Being the breadwinner can be a lot of pressure, but I try not to bring work to the dining room table. Curator's Notes This basket is made of Toradake bamboo, which is harvested to yield a surface reminiscent of a tiger coat. The organic stripey pattern gives the basket a darkened look that feels vintage and well-loved. Use it to present warmed bread or pastries to guests. You can line the basket with linens, but since bamboo is naturally anti-microbial, food can also be placed directly in the basket. It also makes for the perfect gift basket of household items like tea accessories and cloths. The versatility makes it a practical addition to any kitchen, perfect for everyday use or for special occasions.
