The Toro 89-1493 is a 35° stream spray nozzle engineered for non-turf and landscape applications where wind-resistant streams and matched precipitation are required. Its pressure-compensating screen reduces misting while delivering consistent distribution across a half-circle (180°) arc. MPR Plus matched-precipitation design for even watering when used with other Toro MPR nozzles. Pre-installed pressure-compensating screen minimizes misting and maintains consistent flow across pressures (recommended ~30 psi for sprays). 35° stream trajectory produces wind-resistant streams; this model is a Half-Circle (180°) pattern. Adjustable radius: typically 13-22 ft (4-6.7 m) depending on supply pressure; at 30 psi expect about 20 ft and ~1.2 GPM. Fits Toro 570 series pop-up bodies and shrub adapters; installs on standard 1/2" male nozzle threads. Sold individually or in manufacturer packs. Use a 100-mesh filter and periodic inspection to avoid clogging; do not use stream sprays for turf or seedbeds. For mixed-zone designs, avoid combining 10° and 35° stream spray nozzles on the same valve circuit.
