Based on a find from Lisbjerg, Denmark, they sport a very cheerful looking gripping beast design. They are lighter than the previous version with a new mold being produced to repli cate the traditional construction method. As a result, the back of the brooch is patterned with weave from the cloth used when making the mold - just like the originals.The brooches are 8.2 cm long, and weigh about 90g each. They are cast in lead free pewter in Scotland. Show more
