Mottled tortoiseshell effect buttons, 4-hole with a deep ring edge. Urea is a natural protein used to break down nitrogen and is made into a resin using an organic chemical process. It is extremely durable, resistant to high temperatures and takes dye easily so is a great alternative to plastic. These buttons have been dyed to have a faux-horn tortoiseshell colouring. Perfect for a winter coat! All our trim is deadstock left over from when a designer has finished sampling their collection.
