The ancient concept of “as above so below” is demonstrated in torus shapes. A balanced, harmonious figure seen across cultures, biologically, and mathematically as significant and expansive. The Torus Ring was one of the first pieces I carved - an apt shape for a creative genesis. Although torus shapes are typically hollow, this ring is solid (technically making this a toroid). It’s weighty, simple, symmetrical, and comfortable to wear that has become a part of my everyday.
