The downtempo legacy of Tosca continues. Originally released in 2005, J.A.C. is the fourth studio album by the Austrian duo. For its 20th anniversary, which also marks !K7's 40th anniversary, it has been fully remastered and compiled into a beautiful gatefold 2LP. The follow up to their classic Dehli 9, J.A.C. is perhaps the most consistent formulation of the carefree and melancholic sound of Tosca. The melodies quicken, the grooves are funky and laidback and the variety of musical styles are marked by a wide choice including guest vocalists. Additionally, from 2003 onwards, Tosca became a full band, with live debuts by the side of the likes of Earl Zinger, MC Farda P (Rockers Hi-Fi) and Graf Hadik. It's this new found live experience and the increased interest in the digitally untouched sound of real instruments that marks the character of this landmark Tosca album the most, besides the characteristic Tosca mood. Newly remastered version of a true classic for its 20th anniversary. (Special edition for !K7's 40th anniversary). Gatefold 2LP includes unseen images from the time.Pressed on recycled vinyl Tracklist: A1. Rondo AcapricioA2. Heidi BrühlA3. SuperrobB1. John Lee HuberB2. PyjamaB3. The Big SleepC1. DamentagC2.
