This is a great utility item for the mentalist. It allows you to perform a feat of mindreading seemingly impromptu. It can be performed for mid size groups 15 people and up or for large crowds. Total Recall is a great variation of the “Pseudo Psychometry” theme. A performance could look like this: 5 random spectators are chosen by the audience. You hand each one a page from one of those “While you were out” phone message pads. Ask the spectators to write something on their page while your back is turned, e.g. their favorite vacation spot. When they are done another spectator is asked to collect the five papers and mix them. The stack is then returned to you and you ask the first spectator to concentrate on his vacation spot, the climate, scenery etc. ….You begin to receive his thoughts….and reveal the country! This is repeated with the other four…. You receive enough sheets to perform the trick 24 times. While this sounds like an impossible feat of mentalism It is actually quite easy to do. Show more
