Totem Cams are a groundbreaking camming device engineered to excel in flared, shallow, or irregular rock placements where traditional cams struggle. Their patented Direct Loading S ystem ensures each pair of lobes independently engages the rock, delivering unmatched stability and efficient force distribution even in asymmetric or marginal cracks. Ideal for trad and aid climbing, Totems are light, highly flexible, and built to stick where other cams fail. Direct Loading System (DLS): Each pair of cam lobes independently transmits load, improving holding power in uneven placements and allowing load on just two lobes. (check manual before use!) Ultra-narrow cam heads: About 10 mm slimmer than equivalent Camalots, making them ideal for tight pockets and vertical cracks. Highly flexible stem: No rigid stem means minimal walking and excellent placement adaptability. Glove‑friendly smooth trigger: Trigger wires attach directly to lobes, offering smooth operation even with gloves.
